Missing Man With Paranoid Schizophrenia Disorder Could Be In Danger, Schuylkill Twp Police Say

A man who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia disorder has disappeared, according to a Missing Endangered Person Alert issued by the Schuylkill Township Police Department announced on Tuesday evening, Aug. 6.

Jeffrey DiMaio, 64 of Liberty House, was last seen driving a 2013 gray Ford Focus with the Pennsylvania license plate GKZ7895 in the area of Liberty House Lane, Phoenixville at 5 p.m. on Aug. 4, according to a separate MEPA alert issued on 511PA. 

The vehicle was spotted by automatic license plate readers in the Marcus Hook area around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 5, the Schuylkill Township police explained.

He is described as a white man who is 5’11” tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Police believe this person may be at special risk of harm or injury or may be confused," according to the MEPA. 

Anyone with information on Jeffrey Dimaio is asked to contact police immediately by calling 911 or the Schuylkill Township Police Department at 610-935-2440.
